Overview
PGL Major Singapore 2026 uses a four-stage format: three Swiss brackets of 16 teams each, then a single-elimination playoff of 8. All 32 teams enter through Valve Regional Standings — there are no dedicated RMR tournaments this cycle. The VRS snapshot cutoff is November 2, 2026.
Stage 1 — Swiss, 16 teams
- 16 teams enter Stage 1 (6 Europe, 6 Americas, 4 Asia)
- Advancement / elimination matches: Bo3
- Remaining matches: Bo1
- Top 8 advance to Stage 2
- Bottom 8 are eliminated
Stage 2 — Swiss, 16 teams
- 16 teams: 8 advancing from Stage 1 + 8 new invitees (6 Europe, 1 Americas, 1 Asia)
- Advancement / elimination matches: Bo3
- Remaining matches: Bo1
- Top 8 advance to Stage 3
Stage 3 — Swiss, 16 teams
- 16 teams: 8 advancing from Stage 2 + 8 new invitees (6 Europe, 2 Americas)
- Advancement / elimination matches: Bo3
- Remaining matches: Bo1
- Top 8 advance to Playoffs
Playoffs — Single-elimination, December 10–13
- 8 teams · single-elimination bracket
- All quarterfinals and semifinals: Bo3
- Grand final: Bo5
